Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson were inseparable after they met for the first time. Ashley was only 17 and hadn't had a boyfriend so the two took things really slow. They immediately fell in love. Andrew prayed to God during New Year's Eve, right before 2016 began. Andrew requested God to grant him one last blessing that year: that Ashley accept his proposal and be married. Ashley was determined to create the perfect wedding that had a rustic woodsy theme, which could truly reflect her as well as Andrew. The couple combined their favorite things to create the perfect wedding. Ashley was raised in a 40-acre farm. They walked from the path towards the field that they said "I do" in Ashley has explored and played in all of it. Andrew and Ashley strolled through the exact area when they were together. Since the wedding was almost entirely homemade, personalization played a big role. Andrew and Ashley's dad created the seating areas and the arch for the ceremony. Ashley painted many of the decors.
